Joan Crawford’s Salad Number One

I ate quite a lot of rich food in Amsterdam including this:

Romaine lettuce

Slices of pineapple

Avocado

Cottage cheese

French dressing

Melba Toast

On a large salad plate make a bed of crisp romaine.  On this place two slices of pineapple.  Cover the pineapple with thin slices of avocado pear arranged in circular form.  As a center for each ring of pineapple and avocado place a mound of cottage cheese.  With this salad serve French dressing and Melba toast.
