Just a quick post to say that we have a new recipe of the month. I’ve just sent the newsletter out, subscribers get an extra treat – a link to a little demonstration film I made. I haven’t made this available to the whole world because I’m constantly appalled at the RUDE comments some people make on YouTube. Hopefully, I’ll get some nice feedback rather than comments like “You is goofy and a rubbish cook”.
Agnes’ mousse is really really delicious and simplicity itself to make. If you aren’t subscribed to the newsletter you can see the recipe on the Recipe of the Month page. Happy mousse whipping!
I find comments on internet sites such as youtube and yahoo incredibly irritating and yet weirdly moreish. I know they are going to make me mad but I can’t stop myself from scrolling down and reading more and more.
Who would have thought that outlandish rudeness combined with an inability to use their and there correctly would be so maddening?
On a lighter note, now that I’ve seen you make A.A.’s Mousse I’ll know where I’m going wrong, what it’s supposed to look like and when to bring out the emergency tub of ice cream when I attempt it for the Mrs.
Cheers!
Ha ha – I know EXACTLY what you mean. People that post outrageous comment on YouTube films FASCINATE ME. When I get a bit better at making the videos I might throw them open to the world just to see what happens. I think you can set something so you can approve or disapprove. I may then spend my entire life feeling OUTRAGED at the rude things people say about my hair, my frocks, my teef, my kitchen, my cooking abilities… But it could provide some laughs!
Edible sprinkles – whatever next! I’m sure Agnes would’ve been proud. Keep up with the videos, I’ve had enough of looking at dogs that talk on youtube and would cherish seeing something useful like you’re cook-alongs especially when it’s as yummy as a chocolate mousse. Tell me did you eat it all in one go or save some for five minutes later!
Thank you choochieface! Dogs that talk? I wanna see that. I’ve only seen ninja cats and sneezing pandas lately. This project is piling on the pounds so I took the mousse to work thinking, “it’s a bit weird to bring a big bowl of mousse to work, I wonder if anyone will eat it?” 15 minutes later – GONE!
