Greetings friends! The Murder, She Cooked book will be released into the world TWO WEEKS TODAY. Oh my! I am sooooooo excited. I’ve just realised I haven’t shared the cover yet with my lovely blog readers so here you go…
Fun eh? A big thank-you to Joan Ransley who took the photo (it did make me laugh that I had to send her a plastic lobster in the post) and to Greg Swenson who did the cover design. Recognise the font?!
I hear that Jessica Fletcher herself has been spotted reading an advance copy of Murder, She Cooked…
Word is that she found it just as enthralling as The Sins of Castle Cove!
The foreword has been written by the fabulous Tim Benzie of Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote fame.
On publication day I have taken a day’s leave from work to live my life like Angela Lansbury, so expect lots of posts on social media about me eating my way through the Positive Moves menu
AND of course, doing the Angela Lansbury exercise routine.
I am still saving up for my exercise outfit from Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.
Only £477 (about $610) – a SNIP!
Will I have time for a relaxing bath as Dame Angela recommends to round off a busy day? I hope so!
Until then my friends, here are two dates for your diaries. If you are in or around London, please do come to the book launch in Camden, all the details will be in my next newsletter – going out on the 30th September. If you aren’t already signed up, skip over here…
Plus, wherever you are in the world (time zone permitting) please do join me for a live cookalong event on Sunday 2nd October.
Here is the link to register for the cookalong – Murder, She Cooked Cookalong.
A big thank-you to Nessa Chileshe of @nessaccreates for my fab promo graphics. Every time I look at Jessica reading my book my heart almost bursts!
I’m running a competition to win a copy of the book is on until midnight Friday 30th BST – just skip over to this post and make your guess in the comments. Which episode of the show featured something called Tangerine Twist?!
