Hollywood Cocktails and Canapes Party 3 – Annette Funicello – Baby Kebobs

At the last cocktails and canapés party there was much talk about the word Kebob as opposed to Kebab (which is what we call them here in the UK).  At this cocktails and canapés party there was much talk about haircuts.  I was saying how well I remember the time Michelle turned up at White Mischief with her long hair all chopped off in a Louise Brooks style bob.  I said I’d been thinking about having a radical chop.

Michelle said, “Jenny is thinking about getting a kebob”.  Ha ha!

Nobody really said much about Annette’s Kebobs.  Swiss cheese cubes, cubes of cooked ham and a chunk of gherkin.  I liked them but I guess there were lots of other more interesting things on offer…  Thanks anyway Annette you cutey pie!

  1. A radical haircut – that’s brave. But anyway back to Kebobs, have you noticed that foreign dishes seem to need to be pronounced with foreign accents these days? Does it make them more authentic? When did risotto become ree soto and moussaka moo-saka last bit said fast? Oh I’m ranting – sorie. GG x
