Nathalie is a much better baker than I am.  Barbara’s Gingerbread was very light and fluffy.  I seem to remember when I made gingerbread (Bonita Granville’s) it was not much cop, but Nathalie’s was LOVELY. Mmmm.  I have a bit of that in my takeaway parcel from the party too – lucky me!

Nathalie suggested that we could fancify the gingerbread with some gold leaf on top, I think that would be a really sweet touch.
