Yee haw partners, wanna come to a virtual reality party?

I’m joining in with this opportunity to don a cowboy hat and eat masses of chili, and you should too! You don’t have to have a blog to participate in this, it’s just for fun! All the details about it are on Greg Swenson’s fabulous website – Recipes4Rebels – with lots of recipes to choose from.
I will be making the “Giant” Martini – which Liz Taylor and Rock Hudson invented on the set of the movie Giant:

and Monte Hale’s Hale and Hearty Chili:

and I’ll be watching Giant with Mr Rathbone – I don’t care HOW sunny it is outside – ha ha!

I can’t wait! If you have a go at either of these recipes, let Greg know. They both feature in his fabulous book Recipe for Rebels along with around 200 other movie star favourites.

Ride ’em cowboys and cowgirls!

Mr. Alex said, “Mmmmmm…chocolate and chili…sounds wonderful!” I agree! I do often add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to my chili…it’s great. Definitely try it sometime. And molé sauce is my all time favorite Mexican dish!
Thanks for the glowing write-up and for encouraging me to host the #CowboyDayCookalong . It’s turning into so much fun with participants from cities and countries all over the world! Looking forward to everyone’s results!
It’s happening right here, today! Just waiting for Mr R to get up and get his cowboy hat on!
