Hollywood Cocktails and Canapes Party 2 – Errol Flynn’s Deviled Tomatoes

When I made these a while back they looked like a right dog’s dinner so I loved the way Nathalie served these up – on individual spoons.   Very sophisticated.

These were very popular and Nathalie and I discussed possibly doing these with cherry tomatoes next time.  The sauce is good and mustard-y which brings out the tomato flavour.  They are not very photogenic but they are very tasty.  Errol loves these.

  1. Your comments on the last time you made these were spot on – they look a little unsophisticated but taste delicious. The sauce was fiddly but worth the work. Little cherry tomato versions on teaspoons next time!
