Farley Granger’s Baked Potato With Sour Cream and Chives

I am a fan of the baked potato. I love them. Especially the Pat Phoenix way of pimping them up with sardines!

But of course, sour cream and chives is a classic pairing, so testing this recipe for the Murder, She Cooked book was a breeze. It’s a very simple recipe, but rather than just dumping the sour cream and chives on top of the potato as they used to do in the glory days of Spud-U-Like…

Yeah, I’d be queuing too if a Spud-U-Like was opening near me…

Farley scoops out the potato, mixes all the other bits and bobs in

and piles it all back inside the skin. Then returns the potato to the oven to warm through. Then bungs MORE sour cream and chives on top. Lovely!

This recipe is definitely going in the Murder, She Cooked book because YES, Farley Granger is in Murder, She Wrote looking seriously distinguished…

Silver Fox!

Here’s the recipe, its’ so easy, and so good!
