Gene Hackman’s Steak Diane

So sad to hear that Gene Hackman has gone to that Hollywood in the sky.  It’s pure coincidence that The Poseidon Adventure is my movie of the month over at Dinner and a Movie. Let’s celebrate Gene by having a Poseidon Adventure Cocktail,

cooking his Steak Diane, and watching The Poseidon Adventure together – everyone welcome. Skip over here for details…

I created the Poseidon Adventure Cocktail for my chum Orlando’s new book, which came out on the 6th March.

it was SOOOO exciting to see it in print and I have been keeping my neighbours awake by laughing out loud at the antics of Paul Delamare and his fellow yacht passengers every night since.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Here’s Gene’s recipe

and here’s how mine turned out, utterly delicious!

Thanks, Gene – hope you are having fun up there with all your Hollywood pals x
