Hollywood Cocktails and Canapes party 3 – Ginger Rogers’ Grape Mint Punch

Nathalie made some of this at home and brought it over in lovely bottles with hand made labels.  Tres chic and very tasty.  Directions were to add water, but as the party progressed, guests diverted from this and topped it up with Prosecco – booze hounds!  A bit like a Bellini.

Nathalie had the devil’s own job finding grape juice in East London but she got there in the end and it was definitely worth the effort.

We are tweaking the recipe for this for the Cocktails and Canapes book but do drop me a line via the “contact me” page if you would like me to send it meanwhile…

With this, and the Peanut Parsley Sandwiches (more later on these) Ginger has slightly redeemed herself.  She still wears the crown for the WORST Silver Screen Suppers recipe ever.  Date Butterscotch Pudding.  Ha ha – I made that in 2006 and it really makes me laugh to read that post.  I was living in Walthamstow with my gorgeous chums Gaby and Lucy – we had two glorious years of hilarity.  It’s one of the best things about having a blog, you can time travel, that little jaunt to 2006 brought back so many lovely memories…
