A Marx Brothers Menu

Those lovely folks at www.eatdrinkfilms.com have again made my column look super dooper with great photos of various Marx Brothers with various foodstuffs.

This was my favourite:

groucho2If you fancy having a Marx Brothers dinner party, skip over to Eat Drink Films for the recipes – Groucho’s favourite Date and Pecan Pie and his recipe for Matzo Balls.  This of course gave me the opportunity to quote the adorable Marilyn when after eating Matzo Ball Soup for the umpteenth time in a row she asked: “Isn’t there any other part of the Matzo you can eat?” Boom boom!!

I don’t care if it is true or not, I love it.

Talking of dinner parties, I am revving up for #PartyLikeAMadman for the first episode of the final series of Mad Men on Sunday April 5th.

I’m trying to decide what to make from the fabulous Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook.  I’ll be giving away a free copy of the book my lovelies, so check in on THURSDAY for my post (or maybe Friday morning if I get too drunk on Stirling Cooper Cosmopolitans,  Dapper Don Old Fashioneds or Madmenhattens!
