Over on my Dinner and a Movie blog, Gold Diggers of 1933 is the movie of the month. It’s a fab whirlwind ride and I heartily recommend it. Skip over here (or press the button below) if you fancy joining our fun online community – we sometimes have international online watch parties.
Here’s Joan’s Sunday special with a pic of how mine turned out

Yum! Happy weekend. I have a portion of this in my freezer and am planning to pull it out on Sunday night. Of course, you could eat this on any day of the week, but I like to eat a dish with a day in the title on the specific day. If you are like me, there’s…
George Kennedy’s Sunday Caesar Salad
Gregory Peck’s Sunday Morning Happy Pappy Eggs
Michael Douglas’ Saturday Night Special Veal Special
Vincent Price’s Friday Chicken
Dinah Shore’s Sunday Baked Eggs
Lucille Ball’s Sunday Night Supper
Nothing for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays though!

HI , what book is this one from? is it available from Amazon? thank you so much!
Hi Kara.- this recipe is in Famous Stars Favorite Foods – Fannie Sniff, Editor, 1938 – It’s a pretty rare book I think. I can’t see it on Amazon but there’s a copy on abebooks- but it’s £380! https://www.abebooks.co.uk/Famous-Stars-Favorite-Foods-Two-Hundred/30353931380/bd – gosh, I’ve had my copy for a very long time and can’t remember how much I paid for it – definitely not that much!
