Louise is the featured star over at my Dinner and a Newsletter this month, so do nip over there if you are a fan of Brooksie.

Louise shared this recipe with readers of the Hollywood Daily Citizen in 1928. It looks a bit bonkers and is a bit of a juggle to get everything ready at the same time, but it’s absolutely delicious!

A dish as elegant and eccentric as Louise herself.

A couple of tips from me
- I covered the baking dish with foil rather than buttered paper
- I oven-cooked the chicken breast at 200℃
- You could safely boost up the paprika, I reckon!
Do get in touch if you give this one a whirl. It feels very retro, very Louise…
