Mariposa’s Canapes D’Amour

Bibelot, bibelot, bibelot.  What a lovely word.  And what a lovely magazine my fabulous matchmaking neighbour Chloe Owens has created…

Chloe_OwensIt is absolutely gorgeous – check it out – Bibelot – mmmmmmm.

I’ve written a little something for the magazine, it includes a recipe for Canapes D’Amour from the Hollywood Glamour Cook Book.  Look at Chloe’s ace photo.

Which is why I am saving up to go on my friend Joan Ransley‘s forthcoming food photography course at the School of Artisan Food.  There is one coming up in March which I can’t do as I’ll be at the Hippodrome Festival of Silent Cinema up in Scotland, but there are more courses coming up in June and July.

Here’s the website link for the School of Artisan Food – loads of amazing looking courses…

But until then, I will continue taking rubbish photos of food, and taking little tupperware boxes of things for Chloe to photograph for her new blog once a month!  Mary Astor’s Celery Crisps are on the slate for my next piece…

And who was Mariposa?  It’s a bit of a mystery but see here if you are intrigued…
