This week we propose a Mary Pickford for your cocktail hour. You will need 2oz rum, 3/4 oz pineapple juice and 3 dashes of grenadine. Shake with ice. Serve with a whistle swizzle stick if you have one!
Cheers Mary!

Hmmm, does not look to be a winner there . Grenadine can quickly make a thing too sickly sweet which could be why Mary liked it so much Apart from a Daquiri my favourite rum cocktail is quite simple instead of the grenadine mix in a highball glass and top with ginger ale . Cuba Libre style !
Cor, that sounds good! There is now a LOT of Golden Rum to consume, plus there is a lot of Crabbie’s Ginger Ale here, I feel a boozy rum and ginger ale coming on…
We were not mad on the Mary Pickfords, but the Binnie Barnes Schnorkel? That’s another story! Tune in next week!
