Brian Cranston’s Cranstonian

I’ve been getting back into the recipe research aspect of Murder, She Cooked volume 2, and there were 18 episodes out of 136 that I had no related recipes for.  Now there are only 17!  I discovered this video on YouTube featuring Brian Cranston, who appears in 3 episodes of Murder, She Wrote – hoorah!

I just made myself one, and my goodness, it knocks your socks off!  I’d never had Mezcal before, so it was an intriguing flavour to me, very smoky…

I couldn’t get the brand of Mezcal that Brian and his co-star from Breaking Bad have created/sponsored/whatever you want to call it – Dos Hombres

without forking out about £70, so I went with something that was still a pretty penny, Ojo de Tigre.  Mmmm – very nice indeed, I am going to try it in a margarita next.

The Cranstonian will definitely be going in the book – who wants to be the official recipe tester?!  Here’s what’s in it

So if you have Aperol, Mezcal, cranberry juice and limes about your person, get in touch.

Cor!

You’ll get an acknowledgement in the book and my undying love…
