One of my resolutions for next year is to get on with the top 100 movie star recipes list. I have so many fab recipes to share, I just need to get amongst it. This is a din-dins I crave on a regular basis. It is a fabulously simple singleton’s supper.

I am sure you could make these for other people, but at my gaff, this is always a treat to self. I usually have a tin of sardines around the place, sometimes bog standard, sometimes a little fancy. The latest was a little fancy one.

There are always onions knocking about, and little bits and bobs of cheddar in the freezer. Sometimes fresh herbs, but always dried ones if not. So if you are a potato of a baking sort of size and you find yourself at my house, watch out, this is almost certainly what I am going to do with you.

Easy supper dish is exactly what it is Pat, THANKS!
I’ve used this picture of Pat before, but, well, just look at her. She is MAJESTIC! As are her potatoes!

Pat may not be too familiar outside the UK but to a young impressionable pre-teen in Britain watching Coronation Street in the 1970s she was the most glamorous thing I’d ever seen.
