Yul Brynner’s Beef Massaman Curry

Ahhh, the divine Yul Brynner and his lovely dinners!

Westworld (1973) is the movie of the month over on my Dinner and a Movie blog so if you fancy reading about that, skip over here

Westworld

The featured recipe this month is his delicious Massaman Curry

and in the spirit of fairness, I’m sharing it here too.

I made mine in a slow cooker (crock-pot) and threw in some potatoes too.  If you fancy doing it this way, I share some tips.

I did a video deep-dive into Yul’s cookbook for my paid subscribers bonus content, and demonstrate the Yul Brynner cocktail.

You should see a button on the bonus bits post to claim a freebie if you don’t want to commit to paying monthly.  But if you love classic movies and are interested in what their stars liked to eat, I do send out a FREE monthly movie menu newsletter from that blog so take a peek and sign up if that’s your jam.

Dinner and a Movie

Do let me know if you try Yul’s curry, I heartily recommend it.  It’s a winner, winner, Yul Brynner Dinner!
