Linda Gray’s Oven-Steamed Asian-Style Fish

I couldn’t resist trying a recipe from the kitchen of Linda Gray. If only as an excuse to bung up a picture of one of the best evenings of my life. In Portugal. Hitting hundreds of people on the head with plastic hammers. What a night!

I loved that Sue Ellen T-shirt. Goodness knows what happened to it.  I have wasted way too much time on the internet trying to find another…

Actually, in my case, it is traipsing around the internet being distracted by shiny things that is the thief of time…

Linda’s recipe was GOOD.  I made it during the first pandemic lockdown as I was really attempting to get my fish cooking phobia wrestled to the ground.  I didn’t get around to writing about it (probably too busy traipsing around the internet), but I made it again recently and loved it, so I hereby share the recipe and some pix.

I served my fishy with a chunk of hispi cabbage and a glug of a rather delicious new Heinz product, so this din-din is gonna count towards the Heinz 57 challenge.

Here’s Linda’s recipe…

Thanks, Linda, and if anyone spots one of those T-shirts for sale on the internet let me know!  It was a bit like this, but not quite, I bought it from Hennes.  About 20 odd years ago.  I miss it…
