Here’s a little update on what’s been occurring over on my Murder, She Cooked SubStack. Firstly there is a great chilli recipe to accompany your viewing of the Murder, She Wrote episode that features Polly Bergen, School for Scandal.
and there is also a Glynis John’s Chicken Paprika recipe to accompany Sing a Song of Murder.
I’m serializing the forthcoming Murder, She Cooked book on Substack although the book will have EXTRA material.
There will be verdicts on each of the recipes from my wonderful test cooks all around the world and other bits and bobs. The Polly Bergen recipe was tested by my most prolific tester Vera Roth in Berlin. She’s a wonderful illustrator and often paints the dishes she cooks, for example, check this out!
The book is nearing completion, so there has been much writing, compiling, proofreading and correcting going on here at Silver Screen Suppers Towers. You can tell I’ve got to the stage of working on the book cover by my eBay search results – hahahahah!
Yes, the cover will feature a plastic lobster! Details coming soon about a book launch date and a worldwide Cabot Cove cookalong – I’ll be demonstrating an Angela Lansbury recipe (or maybe two!) and everyone is welcome to join in.
