Silver Screen Suppers Towers has moved to the seaside.
I put my intention to do this out into the universe a few months ago, and a beautiful place to live has been handed to me on a plate with parsley around it! I have an absolutely wonderful kitchen and am planning some movie star recipe demo videos very soon. I won’t be posting for the whole of August as I have a lot of unpacking and admin to do but will be back with a vengeance in September.
Until then, here’s a little round-up of the Top 100 movie star recipes I’ve selected for the pantheon so far. More of these coming later in the year.
#100 – Phyllis Diller’s Garbage Soup
#99 – Vincent Price’s Buckingham Eggs
#98 – David Niven’s Jannson’s Temptation
#97 – Diana Dors’ Artichoke Bean Bowl
#96 – Gene Tierney’s Tuna Salad Royal
#95 – Peter Fonda’s Blender Breakfast
and at #94 – Una Stubbs’ Home Made Muesli
I have #93 up my sleeve so keep your eyes peeled. It’s this little beauty…
Enjoy life by the sea! Looking forward to seeing your posts in September!
Aww, thanks, A! I am itching to get back to blogging but there is so many boxes to investigate first!

Hi .. I hope you’re settling in Hastings, I’ve been at my brothers place in france for a while and haven’t had chili in almost three weeks !! So I did a batch of Natalies heuvo rancheros this morning to get going again . Did eat some very nice Cassoulet though and the best croque monsieur I ever ate, yes better than Vincents ! I took a picture of the boulangerie I bought it in so I can find it again next time ! You’ll have to put a costal spin on Natalies eggs now with a ‘Hastings heurvo rancheros’ . Get on it !
OMG! Mark, I have made the fatal mistake of reading your comment before I have had my breakfast. I am STARVING now and really want Natalie’s huevos rancheros AND a croque monsieur! COR! Mr R always makes me croque monsieur on my birthday and we have our annual “summer” holiday coming up next week so maybe I’ll get the ingredients in and make him one. Ooooh I do love cassoulet, I have memories of making Simone Signoret’s many moons ago and that was a winner!
